Peacock Hall
| This was a small space open to a
dining room and living room. In the wall opposite from and facing into the living room was an uninspiring door plus the ubiquitous air heating grille. Nothing much can ever be done with these grilles, but with the door I had a carpenter make a perfectly flat replacement that was spring loaded so that it opened to the touch - doing away with the need for door handles and visible hinges. The artwork was painted on canvas and installed. |
